We are an art gallery and painting & printmaking studio in Essex, CT, run by two artists. Our Gallery showcases our own works and those of other artists we admire. The Gallery also hosts opening receptions, drop-in drawing sessions, artist talks, Art Movie Nights, and more. Behind the Gallery is our Painting and Printmaking Studio, where we engage in the marvelous, mysterious, magical, occasionally maddening process of Making Art. We paint, sketch, draw, and printmake - create monotypes, wood- and linocuts, etchings and intaglio prints. These are original works of art created by hand using a wide range of printmaking techniques and pulled, by hand, on our lovely Takach and Ettan etching presses.
In our Studio, we offer small-group classes, individual one-on-one instruction, and host a variety of events.
